Guides - Girlguiding in Rutland

Adult Leaders are women, aged between 18 and 65, who enjoy working with young people and are willing to make or re-affirm the Promise and undertake the responsibilities of a Guider.

I promise that I will do my best:
To love my God,
To serve the Queen and my country,
To help other people
and To keep the Guide Law.

Adult Leaders follow Girlguiding Leadership Scheme, a programme of training which is designed to enable them to work effectively with the girls in a unit.

Women up to the age of 25 can be Young Leaders rather than become an Adult Leader and women who would like to be part of a group but do not wish to become leaders can be Unit Helpers.
