Young Leaders - Girlguiding in Rutland

Young Leaders are young women, aged between 14 and 25, who enjoy working with young people and are willing to make or re-affirm the Promise and undertake the responsibilities of a Guider.

I promise that I will do my best:
To love my God,
To serve the Queen and my country,
To help other people
and To keep the Guide Law.

Young Leaders follow a programme of training which is designed to enable them to work effectively with the girls in a unit and to expand their skills.

At 18 Young Leaders can become Adult Leaders or continue as a Young Leader to the age of 25. Young Leaders are often Ranger Guides too.
