Magnolia Cottage is situated in the pretty village
of Caldecott, in the ancient county of Rutland.

The cottage overlooks the rolling hills of the Welland River Valley
in some  of England's most beautiful countryside.

A former foresters cottage built from local limestone in 1877.

Magnolia Cottage is a well appointed property, with central heating, suitable for sleeping up to 4 persons. It has two double bedrooms with twin beds in each  (The Pine Room shown above -  top left, and The Mahogany Room - top right).  A cot is available on request.

Bathroom/WC with bath and shower.

The lounge, comfortably furnished, has a dining area, open log fire, Colour TV, video and stereo system.

The kitchen  is fully equipped and includes a conventional oven, microwave and washing machine.

The cottage also features a small garden with patio area and BBQ.

Weekly rates for self catering are from £175. depending on the time of year.

Located on the A6003 between Uppingham and Rockingham.

Caldecott is the ideal centre from which to explore the delights of Rutland.  Two pubs with restaurants are within walking distance of the cottage.   The  market towns of Oakham and Uppingham are within easy driving distance, with many shops, restaurants and public houses. Nearby places to visit include  the historic Rockingham Castle, Rockingham Motor Speedway, the Eyebrook reservoir for trout fishing, Rutland Water for sailing, windsurfing, bird-watching and cycling.
