The future is an accident waiting to happen...This classic satire on Modern Science, which promises progress while bringing about the end of the world, is more relevant today than when it was published in the 60s. Just like Miracle Theatre, touring the first UK adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut’s bestseller, Cat’s Cradle explores serious themes through laughter and is a perfect vehicle for Miracle’s blend of physical theatre, comedy, film and music. Miracle’s style is colourful, physical, funny and engaging, suitable for audiences of all ages, and particularly recommended for adults and older children.

Jazz violinist Mike Piggott and multi-instrumentalist Martin Wheatley present an entertaining musical journey through jazz styles from early Hawaiian, Western Swing and Blues, to Stephane Grappelli, Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of France, and beyond.
In addition to conventional violin and guitar, the show features a selection of unusual instruments including the strohviolin, steel guitar and ukulele.
Between them, Mike and Martin have played with a very wide range of musicians including Martin Taylor’s “Spirit of Django”, Bryan Ferry, Bucky Pizzarelli, Bert Jansch, Ralph McTell, John Etheridge, Phil Collins, Pentangle, Guy Barker and many more. They also play at jazz festivals throughout the UK and abroad.

Set in futuristic Japan at a time of war, holocaust and madness, Pathway to The Red Sun is both terrifying and beautiful. A tale of death and murder with a heartbreaking love story weaving its way into the hearts of the spellbound audience. With poetry and text by Anna Maria Murphy. (BBC Radio 4, National Theatre, Kneehigh, Wonder Show), original live music, humour, acrobatics and a highly visual style.

Sara Colman is one of the brightest stars emerging from the British jazz scene today. Indeed, Sara was a Jerwood rising star at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival and a recipient of an inaugural Birmingham Jazz Award in 2006. As well as a thriving solo career Sara is also one of the members of the vocal trio, ‘The Passion’ alongside Liane Carroll and Jacqui Dankworth.
Joining Sara will be Chris Taylor piano, Ben Markland bass and Carl Hemmingsley - drums. The quartet will be performing material from Sara’s latest album ‘Ready’ released in Nov 2008 on Q Note Records.
Sara has been described as ‘an assured and emotional singer with a beautiful voice’ and her original material fits well with her eclectic mix of contemporary classic covers and jazz standards.
