Team of the Month – September 2008

KS3 Girls football team.

Early on into the term it has been difficult to pick out a team of the month as we have only had a few fixtures and all teams are performing to a good standard.

However, we have chosen to select the KS3 girls' football team as the team of the month.

They have had one fixture which consisted of a game against UCC and Longfield. In this they won 6-0 against UCC and 1-0 against Longfield. They all played exceptionally well as a team considering this was their first game together. As well as this all the girls in the team have been attending the girls' football academy to improve their football skills. Their effort and hard work in training was evident in the game as the girls played really good football, which involved good communication, accurate passing and quality finishing.
