The museum is fully wheelchair accessible, with semi-automatic front doors.
A wheelchair is available to borrow on request.
A Hearing Loop is fitted in the Museum Entrance Gallery and in the Colonel Noel Suite.
Guide Dogs are welcome.
Car parking ('Pay & Display') is available outside the Museum. Five spaces are reserved specifically for Museum visitors.
Free disabled parking is available directly outside the Museum entrance.

The Museums Service is supported by The Friends of Rutland County Museum and Oakham Castle who have raised over £170,000 for the work of the Museum since 1973. The Friends have helped the Museum to buy and fit out additional premises, facilities and exhibitions and to acquire many items for the Museumís collections.
