Rutland Together is the Local Strategic Partnership for Rutland.

The Partnership was established in August 2002 to meet Government requirements. The process of establishing the partnership was aided by a task group, set up by Rutland County Council, to engage with community members who would inform and assist decision-making regarding the membership, structure and operation of the LSP.

Rutland Together has over 20 members who meet on a bi- monthly basis. Members include Rutland Council, public bodies such as the police and health authority, voluntary and community organisations and businesses. Rutland Together is supported by various working groups comprising Rutland Together members, other interested organisations not on the Partnership, and key council officers. These working groups are:

- The Community Safety Partnership

- Rutland Infrastructure Group

- Children & Young Peoples Strategic Partnership

- The Rutland Environment Forum

- Social Care, Health & Housing Forum

The current Community Plan comes to the end of its life in 2008, and will be replaced by the new Sustainable Community Strategy which is now in it's consultation stage.
