Lineside Walkway & Picnic AreasEnjoy a walk in pleasant country alongside the museum's ¾ mile long demonstration line. Watch the trains go by as you walk or picnic, and see the remains of the old Oakham Canal.
Regular Displays & ExhibitionsTo be seen in the visitor centre and the former Woolsthorpe Quarry engine shed - which has been rebuilt in the museum.
Steam & Diesel Locomotives, Wagons, Vans & CoachesHave a look at those items awaiting restoration where safety permits. See them being repaired and repainted in the loco shed.
Remains of the former Ironstone Quarrying SystemThe museum site was at one time the loading point for ironstone quarried in the Cottesmore area. The ore was brought to the site by lorry and tipped into the railway wagons from the tipping dock, which remains today and provides a view over the whole museum complex.
