St John & St Anne is:

 

    • A Registered Charity  
    • A Registered Social Landlord 
    • An Almshouse

We provide housing for older people.   Amongst our eligibility criteria are the following points:

 

 

 

    • You must be of state retirement age

       

    • You must not be in employment whilst you are a beneficiary of the Charity

       

    • You must be resident in Rutland or elsewhere in England

       

    • You must be able to live independently

       

There are other criteria such as your financial resources, suitability of your current accommodation, your age, your health and local support of relatives which will be discussed with you should you wish to make an application for one of our vacancies.

 

 

HOW DO WE ADVERTISE OUR VACANCIES?

As vacancies arise they are either notified to Spire Homes or advertised in the following places:

  • The local press and sometimes further afield. 
  • The Rutland On Line Classified Section
  • The Vacancies Page of this website
  • On some local notice boards.

We receive nominations for 50% of our accomodation from Spire Homes waiting list.  While Spire makes nominations from its waiting list the Charity does not maintain its own waiting list.
