FREE Early Years Summer School programme
Are you aged 16 – 24, unemployed (or leaving school/college this summer) and looking for a career in Early Years Childcare?
We are offering a comprehensive introduction to a career in Early Years with accredited learning which could support entry into an apprenticeship, voluntary work placement or paid employment.
Venue: Catmose Campus, Huntsmans Drive, Oakham
Week 1 Day Time Activity
Monday 30/7/12 9.30 – 10.30 10.30 – 2.00 Induction EYFS Induction
Tuesday 31/7/12 9.30 – 12.30 1.00 – 4.00 Child Protection -safeguarding Health & Safety
Wednesday 1/8/12 3 Hours Home Study this requires a PC or laptop as this is an online course. If you do not have access to a PC/laptop we can provide one. Level 2 certificate in Food Hygiene
Thursday 2/8/12 10.00 – 12.00 12.30 – 2.30 Employability Skills
Week 2 Day Time Activity
Monday 6/8/12 9.30 – 4.00 Level 2 Certificate in Paediatric First Aid
Tuesday 7/8/12 9.30 – 4.00 Level 2 Certificate in Paediatric First Aid
Wednesday 8/8/12 10.00 – 12.00 12.30 – 2.00 Employability Skills & Certificate Presentation
