Hi there - I am researching my father`s family. He was born Anthony Victor Kettle in 1948 to Olga Elsie Cecilia Kettle in Melton Mowbray, and was adopted in May 1948 to Leslie and Thirza Deacon. Her family came from Market Overton. I am looking for any information on Olga who I believe married Alexander De Neve in late 1948 and who had a child in 1950 (Karol). My family would love to get in contact with Dad`s family or anyone who may have any information about them. Many thanks Gaynor

Our cat Foster went missing on 30th October 2010. He is pale ginger, he is a pedigree cat and looks slightly different as he has curly whiskers and curly fur on his tummy. I have another cat and four children who are really missing him. We heard a rumor that a cat was run over in the high street at the weekend but don`t know if this could have been him as nobody seems to know anything about it. He was wearing a blue collar with tag and bell but this could have come off. Please contact me on 07838226680 if you know anything. Even if he has been runover we would like to know.

Thanks

Missing Cat

I`m hoping you may be able to help my elderly mum, Jean Broom of 110 Welland Way Oakham.  She is heart broken as her marmalade and white cat, Trinny, disappeared from home last Thursday evening.

The cat is very friendly and tends to follow people, she also likes to find any small nook or cranny to sleep in. If you live in the Welland Way area of Oakham please can you check your garages and sheds to see if the cat has accidentally wandered in.

It`s my mum`s 80th birthday on Saturday and we are organising a grand birthday party with many old friends and relatives, finding Trinny would really make my mum`s birthday complete.

If anyone has any news please can they phone me on 0759417613

Thank you for your help

Hi my names Abi and I live on Kings Road in oakham. My 2 female cats have gone missing on the 9th October 2009. They are very needy and sociable so think they may have got lost and someone may have taken them in.
One is a 3 year old medium sized black and brown tabby with very long hair. She has green eyes ,white around her mouth and rather large paws. She can be a little timid and jumpy. She has a pink collar and is microchipped.
The other is a small black and white long haired kitten about 6 1/2 months old. She has greeny, brown eyes and a very bushy tail. She has no collar but is extremely sociable, friendly, energetic and unafraid of anything.
If anyone has seen either of them please please could they contact me! Please don`t take them in as your own as they have a very loving home already! I am extremely attatched to them and very worried!
