|Motorbike riders in Rutland are being encouraged to take advantage of discounted rates for road safety training thanks to Rutland County Council and the Road Safety Partnership.|
Roadcraft is a three hour course (one to one) which covers safety, observations, positioning and cornering. The course usually costs £75, but Rutland residents can book a session for just £20!
Road Safety Officer, Tish Barnwell, says: 'The offer for Rutland residents takes effect from 1st April and I would encourage anybody who rides a motorbike to take it up. The courses run in Leicester but itís a great opportunity to brush up on your skills'.
Tish added, 'Every if you have been riding for many years, a quick refresher course can often point out any bad habits. Itís well worth it for just £20 and gives you a good insight into advanced riding techniques'.
