£20 Motorcycle Training

Published:Thursday 13 March 2008

Picture of RoadMotorbike riders in Rutland are being encouraged to take advantage of discounted rates for road safety training thanks to Rutland County Council and the Road Safety Partnership.

Roadcraft is a three hour course (one to one) which covers safety, observations, positioning and cornering. The course usually costs £75, but Rutland residents can book a session for just £20!

Road Safety Officer, Tish Barnwell, says: 'The offer for Rutland residents takes effect from 1st April and I would encourage anybody who rides a motorbike to take it up. The courses run in Leicester but it’s a great opportunity to brush up on your skills'.

Tish added, 'Every if you have been riding for many years, a quick refresher course can often point out any bad habits. It’s well worth it for just £20 and gives you a good insight into advanced riding techniques'.
